Actions taken when you schedule a Jacquard experiment via the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Jacquard App

When you schedule a Jacquard experiment via the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Jacquard App, Jacquard takes the following actions:

  1. Creates the data extensions and queries required to run the split test.

  2. Copies the selected user-initiated email.

  3. Modifies the selected user-initiated email and its copy with subject line AMPscript to operationalise the experiment.

  4. Runs the query to populate the split test audience data extension.

  5. Schedules both the split test and winning send emails to be deploy at the appropriate times.

  6. Retrieves the metrics of the split test email and updates the results data extension at the appropriate time.

  7. Retrieves the winning send metrics four days after the scheduled send time.
