Ready to generate quality content at scale?

Navigate to content generation

You can navigate to the content generation by clicking Draft content on the homepage or + Content from the content library.

You'll be taken to the same awesome content generator no matter which path you choose.

Choose your content template

Jacquard has a variety of custom-built content generation templates specifically structured to provide Jacquard with all the information it needs to create your content.

Jacquard has about a dozen different templates built to work specially with our algorithms, deep learning engine and large language model partners. But we're adding more all the time!

Scroll to browse through all of Jacquard's templates or start typing the name of the template you're looking for in the search bar in the upper-right corner. Click on the template you wish to use based on the description provided beneath the template title.

For our example here, we'll choose Email subject line.

Brief the system

Once you've chosen the appropriate template, follow the directions on the page to brief Jacquard with as much information as possible about the content you need.

Read the directions provided for each prompt carefully. The more specific and detailed you can be, the better you can expect Jacquard's content to become.

For our email subject line example, Jacquard is asking us to provide a unique content name, a description of the content and the number of generations we'd like.

You'll notice some content templates have more than one method you can use to brief the system. For email subject lines, we also have the option to simply paste the text of our completed marketing email body rather than writing a description of the content.

You can toggle between the two methods using the radio buttons.

Once you're content with the brief you've created, click Generate in the bottom-right corner and Jacquard will go to work.

Working with your variants

With your content generated, you now have a few different actions available.

If you really like a variant in particular and want Jacquard to create more content like that one, hover over the variant and click on the More like this button on the right. It's the one shaped like a pen.

Conversely, if you don't like a variant and you want Jacquard to try generating a brand new piece of content, hover over the variant and click on the Refresh button on the right.

If you want to edit the variant rather than regenerate, click on the text of the variant and you'll have the ability to manipulate the variant in a standard text box. When you're finished making your changes, click outside of the text box to commit your changes.

To remove a variant entirely without regenerating, hover over the variant, click on the meatballs menu and then click Delete.

You'll also notice in the meatballs menu you have the ability to copy the individual variant by clicking Copy to clipboard.

If none of the variants are what you were hoping for and you want to regenerate all of them, navigate back to the first tab where you briefed the system initially by clicking on the Start here box on the left side of the screen.

You can then change your brief and click Regenerate to create a completely new set of content.

If you're mid-tweak on your content brief and you change your mind about regenerating, click Revert to put everything back the way it was.

Multi-step templates

Some of Jacquard's content templates allow you to generate multiple content items within a single workflow. These multi-step templates allow you to compose structured content in one workflow. Instead of generating single content components separately, such as an email's subject line, body copy, and CTA, our multi-step templates enable you to create all these composite parts of a piece of content in one workflow, making the process quicker and the content cohesive.

Examples of multi-step templates in Jacquard:

  • Marketing email

  • Cold email

  • Push title and body

  • Facebook Ad

  • Website banner

When you compose a piece of content made up of multiple sections you want it to be cohesive, with each element complementing the others.

To achieve this in Jacquard, you’ll generate the component copy one by one in the order they appear in the left-hand panel; after each element generates, choose which variant works best for the content you’re creating and move on to the next section in the flow.

Your selection will be fed into the content generation system, increasing the context Jacquard has to generate complementary language.

Each piece of content you select will appear in the preview panel on the right-hand side.

Changing selected copy

If you want to change your selection, you can navigate back to any generated element within the workflow. You can manually edit the selected copy or choose one of the other variants. You’ll then be asked if you want to regenerate based on your new selection.

If you choose to regenerate, all content on the following content table will be replaced, so hit skip if you want to keep them!

Exporting your variants

You have the option to download all of your variants in a .csv or .xls file. Simply click on the download button in the upper-right corner and choose Export all: CSV or Export all: XLS.
