Liveclicker - Setting up an experiment

Let's connect a Jacquard experiment to a Liveclicker campaign

Updated over a week ago

Before you continue with these instructions, you must have already set up your Liveclicker integration.

You can get your Jacquard-generated language into a Liveclicker campaign with just a few clicks.

Begin by creating a Jacquard experiment as you normally would and approving your language in the platform.

Then, create a new Liveclicker campaign, giving it a unique and creative name.

With your campaign named, click on the LiveImage block.

Then, scroll down and click Create Campaign.

On the next page under Basic Settings, click Add an Integration.

Click on the Phrasee box.

Use the dropdown menu to locate the Jacquard experiment you created. Then, click Done.

Add alt text and then click Save And Next.

You can then proceed with styling your Default LiveImage. You'll notice the Liveclicker integration has pulled in your human control language for your Default LiveImage.

While using Jacquard and Liveclicker together, you're able to style this text using all of the normal Liveclicker tools, but you cannot change the content of the text itself in Liveclicker. If you need to make a change to the language, you need to do so in the Jacquard platform and then reconnect the Jacquard experiment to the Liveclicker campaign from the top.

Once you've styled your Default LiveImage and added your Clickthrough URL, scroll down and click the Create Integration Alternates button.

This handy button will then take care of pulling in the rest of your Jacquard language variants and applying the styling you used on your Default LiveImage to each additional variant.

We recommend you take a moment to expand each variant using the plus (+) button and tweak as needed, as some Jacquard variants may be shorter or longer than your human control and may require slight adjustments.

When you're satisfied with the styling of all your variants, click Next.

Under Target & Test, the integration takes care of everything for you. Liveclicker automatically turns any Jacquard experiment into an A/B test with optimal settings.

Every variant will be tested equally until Liveclicker determines a statistically significant winner based on clicks. Liveclicker will also feed the results back to Jacquard at the variant level.

Click Continue.

From the Jacquard side of things, that's it. You can now finish setting up your Liveclicker campaign and adding it to your email HTML as you normally would.
