Find your campaign-level workflow configuration steps here

For broadcast straight split experiments, check out this sending guide.

With all of your getting started steps complete, let's configure your workflow to deploy an experiment.

Configuring the workflow

Most of the heavy lifting that makes this workflow function is done on the Jacquard side. So, to configure your workflow for a live send you only need to:

1. Add an input audience to the start of the snippet

2. Modify a few variables in the Campaign settings activity

Paste your Jacquard experiment ID and project ID where you see the Xs on lines 7 and 10, respectively.

You can find these strings in the experiment configuration panel in Jacquard.

On line 13, enter the number of hours over which you want Jacquard to dynamically optimise your campaign.

This is an important step. Jacquard will begin sending out your email in batches as soon as you press play, but it needs the optimisation hours entered accurately so it knows when sending needs to be complete.

3. Select a delivery template in the Delivery activity

Make sure the template you select has the Jacquard open tracking pixel included in the body of the email. If you forgot where the pixel is, head back to the getting started article to learn where to find it.

Setup completion

With those items all configured, you're ready to push play. Just ensure you've added an End activity at the conclusion of the workflow if you don't have any additional steps you want to include.

You can use this workflow snippet to replace a delivery activity in a more complex workflow you may already have designed, too. As long as you have an email audience flowing in, a delivery template to deploy and an End step, you're good to go.
